As Covid has hit the property market, there has been a huge adoption of virtual viewing technology.
As lockdown began to ease in June and the property market opened back up again, agents were allowed to do viewings again, but under strict guidance and only after it was clear the viewer was serious about the property.
Retailers of 360 cameras were not prepared for the number of agents buying 360 cameras during lockdown, and cameras went out of stock everywhere.
Over the last 6 months, agents have seen huge benefits using virtual tours as a tool to filter buyers and renters before showing them the property. It decreases the viewings to offer ratio, sometimes renting properties without even leaving the office.
