Today Rightmove released it's latest statistics from 95% of the market, studying where the most in-demand areas are among perspective buyers right now.
Based on the number of people phoning and calling estate agents about homes for sale over the past two weeks on Rightmove, compared to the first two weeks in March before lockdown.
The overall increase in England is 32%, with Rightmove reporting their 10 busiest days ever since the market reopened.
Buyer increase 1st - 14th June vs 1st - 14th March 2020
Three to four bedroom homes have been achieving close to asking price, with buyers agreeing to pay 98% on average in England, with 97.5% on first-time buyer properties.
Rightmove’s property expert Miles Shipside said: “The fact that towns are bouncing back better than bigger cities is indicative of many prospective buyers choosing smaller areas to live, but still looking for places that will have all the facilities they need on their doorstep.
